So Alone (On That Railway Bridge)
We took all your bags to the station
You didn’t want me to stay
That arid conversation
I sensed your reservation
You promised me you’d call when you got there
And I kept checking my phone
But in my trepidation
I knew the situation
You wouldn’t know
I stood on the railway bridge
And watched you go
From high upon the precipice
So alone
On that railway bridge
I never even saw you were changing
I know that you’d roll your eyes
Now my imagination
Plays out my desperation
You wouldn’t know
I stood on the railway bridge
And watched you go
From high upon the precipice
So alone – on that railway bridge
So alone – on that railway bridge
